The Tri-mountain National Scenic Area Administration has authorized five compact car rental operators and 15 hotel operators in the Changhua-Taichung neighborhood as part of a collaboration with the Ministry of Transportation and Communications to provide subsidies to the compact car rental industry and hotel operators as well as local pick-up services for tourists. To link visitors to the hotel for free, 7 routes have been developed. People can make an appointment with the hotel in advance to enjoy the free shuttle service.

The Taichung-Changhua-Hsinchu-Miaoli compact car rental industry and the hotel industry have been encouraged to apply for local connection services in the future, according to the Tri-mountain National Scenic Area Administration. The bilateral operators will also work together to provide free shuttle service for passengers to and from, to make up for the distance that cannot be covered by public transportation.
