Taitung County will be holding a celebration event for Migrants Day on December 14 on the third floor of the International Hall at Wedding Banquet and invites the new residents in Taitung County to join in. Taitung County Government states that due to popular demand, this event has already been fully booked since it was launched. They all looked forward to this event.
The celebration event consists of new residents' excellent performances including mainland China, Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, Cambodia. Besides, there are also a laser stage lighting show and Egyptian Whirling Dervish of a well-known new resident. The performances will be diverse and brilliant.
Apart from the ethnic-cultural food gathering at the event, there are also an activity, "Photo with Your New Residents Families" and a delicate photo-taking area where a professional photographer will take photos of you to leave a warm memory with your families.
Director Yan Zhiguang of the Civil Affairs Department of Taitung County indicates that the department has integrated the resources from various units, actively sought more resources from the central, and cooperated with non-governmental organizations and relevant units to promote the care services for new residents. It is hoped that no matter where they came from or when they came, they all can grow together as long as they are connected to Taiwan and build Taitung to be a happy hometown.
