Taoyuan City’s New Immigrants Empowerment Center (桃園市新住民培力中心) serves new immigrants and provides a series of training courses to promote entrepreneurial skills. The vocational training courses include both theoretical and practical courses, and trainees are arranged to carry out internships in related fields, or to participate in advanced courses to help trainees have the practical ability to enter the workplace. In 2021, the New Immigrants Empowerment Center will offer 3 types of multi-themed training courses such as "Fashion Hairdressing", "Beverage Preparation" and "Pastry Baking". The goal is to meet the needs of the industries’ job vacancies and to train personal professional skills. Training new immigrants to first develop skill and then expertise.

Daily class schedule: 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, with 1 hour break in between classes, please prepare your own lunch.

- Organizer: Department of Social Welfare of Taoyuan City Government
- Organizer: Taoyuan City Second Expertise Development Association
- Training target: new immigrants who are registered in or live in Taoyuan City.
- Course enrollment quota: 10 people for weekday classes and 15 people for holiday classes. Each class is limited to a maximum of 20 students.
- Course tuition: Participants are completely free. However, a deposit of NT$1,000 will be charged when admission is confirmed for each subject’s course levels. After 30 hours of training, the deposit will be refunded in full.
