The Tainan City Government Tourism Bureau announced on its official fan page that the "My Melody & Kuromi Adventure Trip in Tainan" event will be held at Anping Recreation Wharf from October 3 to November 17 this year. Highlights of the event include 12-meter-tall giant inflatable figures of My Melody and Kuromi, photo backdrops featuring Tainan landmarks, limited-time pop-up stores, and character meet-and-greet sessions.

The theme of this event combines Sanrio's popular characters, transforming Anping Recreation Wharf into a romantic pink world. Below are the main highlights of the event:
12-Meter-Tall Giant Inflatable Figures
Giant inflatable figures of My Melody and Kuromi will stand tall at the front plaza of the wharf, offering visitors a perfect spot for photo-taking. During the day, they will harmonize with the seaside view, while at night, there will be a light show starting at 6 p.m. every evening, with one show every half hour.
Themed Installations and Photo Backdrops
The event site will feature 2-meter-tall inflatable installations and five photo backdrops incorporating Tainan's famous landmarks, such as "The Blessing of the Big Fish" and "Anping Old Fort," allowing My Melody and Kuromi to accompany fans on a tour of Tainan.
Limited Meet-and-Greet Sessions
On October 5, fans will have the chance to interact face-to-face with My Melody and Kuromi. My Melody's meet-and-greet session will be from 2:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., and Kuromi's session will be from 4:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Sanrio-Themed Pop-Up Store
During the event period, fans can visit the pop-up store to purchase various merchandise, fulfilling their collection desires.

Following previous collaborations with Disney and One Piece, this event continues to attract a large number of tourists to Tainan. The organizers stated that by integrating cartoon characters with Tainan's scenic spots, they not only provide interesting photo locations but also promote the city's culture.
