What do you think of when we mention “Africa”? Is it poverty, famine, war, or animals? In most people’s minds, it seems that there is nothing else on the African continent. “Wow Africa” conducts inspections regularly and has found out that the African continent has changed significantly, and the whole world is paying attention to the rise and development of Africa.

Focusing on collecting, researching, and promoting information about Africa. Through various activities and exhibitions, the public can have a better understanding of the African continent. WowAfrica hopes to become a bridge between Taiwan and Africa in the future and promote mutual exchanges.

Lu Wei Chen introduced what the team members have seen and heard in African countries. For example, the world's most successful mobile payment is in Kenya, where locals can trade, pay utility bills, etc. with just a mobile phone. Nigeria's thriving film industry “Nollywood” ranks third in the world’s annual film production, which is after Hollywood and Bollywood.

Besides articles and news, WowAfrica also holds events, exhibitions, and lectures, often to reach out to different people, bridging the gap between Taiwan and Africa in a relaxed and interesting way. In addition, the organization also set up “Africa Selection” which sells special products from Africa, supporting creators and enabling more people to understand their stories and cultures.
