On the evening of June 26, a man from Pakistan, thoroughly flustered, entered into the Songshan Branch of the Taipei Police Station asking for help. After the inquiry, the police found that the man had got lost after getting out of the bus in the morning, because he was not familiar with the road. He had no cash, and his mobile phone had run out of battery. After asking for relevant information, the police informed his families to the police station.
The man from Pakistan, Kai Lide, said that he had taken the bus out this same morning, but he was not familiar with the road. He didn’t carry money on him. His mobile phone had run out of battery. That made him became thoroughly flustered, especially when it started to rain, so he decided to ask for help to the police.
After an inquiry in fluent English, the police got the contact information and address of the man's family and immediately contacted his wife and ask her to go to the police station.
When his wife arrived at the police station, the police realized that Kay Lide was a married with a Taiwanese. His wife said that he met with his husband in Pakistan. They has returned to Taiwan recently, so he wasn’t familiar with the streets. Kay Lide can’t express clearly in Chinese. Moreover, with the heavy rain outside, he was so overwhelmed that he was fortunate enough to contact the police immediately, the couple being able to be together again.
