According to Philippine govt: Evacuation of Filipinos in Gaza now mandatory | The Star, the evacuation of Filipinos residing in Gaza is now required since the Philippine government has raised the crisis alert to Alert Level 4.

Undersecretary Eduardo de Vega of the Department of Foreign Affairs stated that Gaza is currently on Alert Level 4, and that Filipinos need to evacuate.

As the confrontation between Israel and Hamas has intensified since October 7, the Philippine government reported that 137 Filipinos residing in Gaza had requested to return home.

A week after Hamas terrorists unleashed a deadly attack on Israel, the Israeli military said on Saturday, October 14, that its troops were getting ready to carry out a wide variety of operational offensive measures as anticipation mounted of an imminent invasion of the Gaza Strip.

Palestine was already asked to leave by Israel. Thousands of Palestinians had apparently taken the warning and moved south, according to the Israeli military. 1.1 million people, or about half of the territory's total population, are included in the evacuation order.

On Saturday, however, Palestinians battled to escape from sections of Gaza that the Israeli force had targeted while simultaneously dealing with a growing scarcity of medical supplies and water.

According to Philippine govt: Evacuation of Filipinos in Gaza now mandatory | The Star, concerned parties were encouraged by world leaders to let humanitarian supplies to reach Gaza.
