The Council of Agriculture, Executive Yuan (COA, 行政院農業委員會) has ordered all of the incoming foreign distant-water fishermen to be tested for Covid-19 since December 2020.

Foreigners without ARC are not allowed their entry since the start of the Level 3 pandemic alert. According to PTV News, COA has announced that regardless of fishermen’s contact history on board, Covid-19 screening is mandatory for all before arrival. A negative test result guarantees their entry.
