New mask-rationing system has launched yesterday (April 8). Two other supermarket chains, PX Mart and Simple Mart, have joined in the system, and their participation is widely lauded by the public.
The fourth round of online order registration for masks has now started! The Ministry of Health and Welfare (MOHW) announced on April 8 that the fourth round of masks purchases has opened until 8 p.m. on April 10 for people who haven't participated in the third round.
The MOHW pointed out that people who have ordered masks need to pay between 8 a.m. of April 11 and 8 p.m. of April 13. People who have ordered online in the third round last week will be able to reorder from April 15-17 next week.
The MOHW emphasized that people who ordered in the fourth round will need to show proof of payment to obtain masks at PX Mart and Simple Mart.
Many netizens responded that "this government is improving and becoming stronger!" and "thanks to the government' and relevant departments' contributions"
Additionally, people who are caught littering used masks face a fine of up to NT$6,000, the Environmental Protection Administration (EPA) said yesterday. Ordinary people are advised to fold their used masks from inside to outside, and quarantined people need to fold masks from outside to inside, throw them into a trash can, and wash hands with soap.
