Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in the Philippines stated they see great potential in the Philippines’ tourism market. Before the COVID-19 outbreak in 2019, more than 500,000 Pilipino visitors have entered Taiwan.

To continue to promote mutual exchanges between Taiwan and the Philippines and maintain the visibility of Taiwan’s tourism in the Philippines, the conference recommends Taiwan’s leisure farm attractions and itineraries to the Philippine industry and promotes bilateral dialogue.

Fang Zi Wei (方子維), the lead of the meeting & the head of Taiwan’s "Music Rice Creative Production and Marketing Corporation (音樂米創意產銷企業社)", said that flower farms are very popular among Filipino tourists as they can take photos with flowers, participate in DIY courses, and enjoy meals made of flowers.

Most international tourists enter Taiwan from Taoyuan Airport, and thus the Hydrangea Flower Season at Yangmingshan National Park is one of the favorite tourism attractions for tourists from the Philippines due to the attraction’s proximity.
