Recently, the New Taipei City Government hosted a ceremony to honor outstanding workers. Ten migrant workers from Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia, and Vietnam received prizes this year. One of them, Bajar Maylyn Coderis, a migrant worker from the Philippines, was honored for her inventive self-made water tower urinal that increased the comfort and security of the care users.

Grandpa Shen has had Parkinson's illness since 2018, and Bajar Maylyn Coderis has worked in Taiwan for seven years. Grandpa Shen's weight rose from 46 kg to 64 kg under Bajar Maylyn Coderis' watchful care, and his complexion also got better.
Bajar Maylyn Coderis even built water tower urinal to lower the danger of using the restroom at night. This allows Grandpa Shen to do so without getting out of bed and lowers the risk of skin irritation, swelling, and allergies. Even the hospital's medical staff is really amazed.
The deputy mayor (劉和然) of New Taipei City thanked all of this year's model migrant workers for their commitment to their jobs and expressed his appreciation. He also urged the workers to continue improving New Taipei City in a variety of ways.
