Promoting English teaching, multinational teachers serve at elementary school

To enhance students' English teaching practical experiences, Assistant Professor of the Department of English of Da-Ye University, Chen Junfu, integrated innovative teaching program into his "pronunciation teaching" and led postgraduate students, Weng Shuni, Pan Zhuoling, Chen Keyou, Zhan Pei Xin, Wang Yuzhang, and Bold Javkhlan to design lesson plans and teaching aids.  They received a great response from the children when they were serving at the San Chun Elementary School and was being asked when they would come back.

Professor Chen Junfu indicated that the "pronunciation teaching" course of the Department of English MA program is not limited to traditional textbooks. Apart from several theoretical bases, such as English pronunciation teaching skills, teaching principles, and teaching strategies, the course also led students to design pronunciation teaching activities, produce teaching aids that were used in the teaching practical experiences to improve students' English teaching ability.

The teaching service supported by Principal Wu Shengwei was targeted at fourth-grade children. The 6 postgraduate students all individually designed a 30-minute teaching activity for children to play with and experience 6 lesson plans. The students that conducted the teaching service and provided the children with an opportunity to step forward to international cultures were from Taiwan, Hongkong, Indonesian, Mongolia.
