The monthly pass plan for the three main living circles has been reviewed and approved, according to the Directorate General of Highways, MOTC but the rationality of the fare will still be examined in light of actual usage after implementation, taking sustainability of the policy and the financial burden on the government into account. In theory, it costs 30% less to commute than the general population does on average. The counties and towns will be requested to reevaluate the price or carry the subsidy monies on their own if it is too low.

The Directorate General of Highways, MOTC will also keep accepting monthly pass ideas and reviewing county and city operations going forward. In order for more individuals to benefit, it is intended that monthly pass would be made available in successive counties and cities in the second half of 2023.
