National Immigration Agency has started the "Digital Application Information Project for New Immigrants" (新住民數位應用資訊計畫) as of July 2nd of this year in order to assist new immigrants and their children in using digital technology efficiently in their everyday lives and employment. Several languages are offered for some courses. Newc immigrants may learn alongside their family and don't have to worry about not understanding because of language barriers.

The content of the "Physical Courses" in the "Digital Application Information Project for New Immigrants" (新住民數位應用資訊計畫) is primarily based on the practical applications of new immigrants, such as comprehending the "My Health Bank" feature in the "National Health Insurance APP" and becoming familiar with mobile devices. For physical education classes, after-school tutoring will also be offered.

The goal of the "practical course"—which includes two courses on animation and art layout design—is to pique students' interest in learning and let them enjoy the benefits of parent-child learning via hands-on activities.

This year's version of the "Digital Course," which was highly successful in past years, has eight themed courses, including introduction to podcasting, internet marketing, making your own ringtones, mobile payment, and financial management, etc.
