Juadines earned a degree in electrical engineering and physics from Mapúa University in the Philippines and was given a scholarship by the International Cooperation and Development Fund. Juadines had always desired to study in Taiwan because his adviser went there before and there are no space science programs offered in Philippine colleges and universities, which would prevent him from pursuing his ambition of becoming an astronaut.

According to Juadines, there have previously been two possibilities to do research in Taiwan; however, these trips were canceled owing to the pandemic. He will travel to Taiwan to pursue a master's degree this year. Juadines intends to work for the Philippine Space Agency and share his knowledge when he returns.
