Zhang is also an ambassador of the National Immigration Agency (Taipei City Service Center). As a person who likes to assist others, he decided to choose a career that matches his personality.

Zhang shared that when he was doing his Orthopedic Internship, he got to know a female patient who encountered a car accident. As a male nurse, Zhang asked a female intern to attach herself to him while performing clinical tasks of the urinary catheter. This was to reduce the female patient’s unease and fortunately, the task was successfully done.

With this experience, Zhang further understood that it’s not easy to be a male nurse but it’s worth doing the job.
