A Taiwanese-American YouTuber – Christina, whose mother is a celebrity in Taiwan-Ou Yang Shan (歐陽珊), created a YouTube Channel ‘Christina Kao You Bian Zou(靠右邊走)’ to share her daily life living with the family.

In this episode of the ‘New Immigrants in Taiwan’ column, Christina and her mother busked on the streets of Boston Chinatown in the USA. The performance not only attracted many passers-by but also enabled Taiwanese living overseas to hear songs they are familiar with and reminisce about life back in Taiwan.

Ou Yang Shan was born with a good singing voice. After coming to Taiwan in 1991, she participated in Taiwan's first singing talent show ‘Five-Light-Bulb Awards (五燈獎)’ and got all five light bulbs 5 times. Her daughter, Christina, inherited her good singing voice from her mother and showed her talents to the public in the USA by performing a singing improvisation.
