Jeremy is from France. He has settled down in Taiwan for over 15 years. Jeremy has achieved many records in Taiwan. He is the first western to travel around Taiwan with a Santaize (三太子) on his back. Learning a foreign language is hard for foreigners. But Jeremy enjoys learning a foreign language. Jeremy says communication is the best way to learn more about a culture.

Jeremy also shares his experience in learning Chinese. At first, he would take a 3–4-hour Mandarin class every day.

Jeremy often practices his Chinese with local people. And as Jeremy speaks more and more Mandarin in his daily life, he became more comfortable when speaking in Chinese. He believes that persistence is the best way to learn mandarin.

A Vietnamese new immigrant participant Deng (小鄧) shared, “I have watched the TV shows hosted by Jeremy. And I am happy to see him in person today. Like Jeremy, I hope I can also learn things with passion, and adapt to the Taiwanese culture faster.”
