To promote multiculturalism of the new immigrants in Taiwan, as well as fulfill the social responsibilities of universities and enterprises, Wenzao Ursuline University of Languages (文藻外語大學) jointly organized an event with Carrefour - a market named “Cultural pluralism & Blessed Society”. It is hoped that this market would enable new immigrants to introduce the taste of their hometowns to the citizens of Kaohsiung.

The market - “Cultural pluralism & Blessed Society” is participated by new immigrants from Turkey, Morocco, Russia, Bolivia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, China and Hong Kong, showing the characteristics of exotic dishes. There were authentic Thai milk tea & salad, Vietnamese sago in coconut milk, traditional Indonesian desserts and Turkish nuts, etc. Each stall had tried its best to present the most authentic food to the public.

Besides gourmet food, many exquisite handicrafts can also be seen in the stalls, including the ones from South America, American India, and Russia. Each one presents exotic and unique designs of various countries.
