- Students who received the BNT vaccine will be home for 2 days of online classes
New Taipei City Mayor Hou You-yi announced that students can attend 2 days of online class after receiving the BNT vaccine jab. Students can stay home so their parents can take care of them. If they continue to feel unwell after 2 days, they may take a vaccine leave and it will not be considered as absence. (Read more: Attention parents! - MOE launches the "New Immigrants' Language Online Teaching Program"
New immigrants can record language learning resources through online platforms for those interested to learn about Southeast Asian Languages. Through this, Southeast Asian culture has reached schools in rural areas. - NIA promotes "Free Wi-Fi & Rent-free Service of Tablet or Laptop for New Immigrants"
New immigrants can now borrow laptops and tablets for free to experience digital learning. To apply, they must apply by visiting various service stations or calling the National Immigration Agency (NIA) hotline to inquire. (Read more: Apply now! - Taipei City's "Migrant Workers, Family Members" online exhibition
This online exhibition is to allow Taiwanese locals to understand better the situation of migrant workers working as caregivers in Taiwan. This is in hopes that Taiwanese society can support and aid in the development of long-term care industries in Taiwan.
