Through the "Hands Together Project" of the K-12 Education Administration, Ministry of Education, National Tainan Chia-Chi Senior High School invited two Tanzanian students to share their music and culture on campus in order to help students broaden their understanding of the world and multiculturalism.

There are 12 classes involved in this exchange program, and over 400 students interacted with two international students. The foreign students from Tanzania stated that they have been studying in Taiwan for four years and that they hope to be able to share their experiences on campus before returning home after graduation and inspire other young Taiwanese students to bravely step out of their comfort zones and enter the global stage.

The teachers and students who took part in the activity also mentioned how novel and enthused they were about the exchange, especially since it was their first exposure to African drums. They also mentioned how learning about their own language and culture allowed them to broaden their perspectives on many different countries.
