"Artistic Therapy and Brave Companionship for Life Warriors" - Lin Ziyang, Wu Shouzhen, Ye Bocheng, Huang Xiaorou, & Wu Yuhan
Lin Ziyang has been passionate about art from a young age and was diagnosed with brain cancer at the age of ten, requiring long-term treatment. His family introduced him to art therapy, which helped alleviate his pain and inspired his creativity. Through the Dream-Building Project, Ziyang hopes to plan a series of art therapy sessions to help more children battling illness find hope and strength through art. He invited Cambodian new resident child Shouzhen, as well as his art class friends Bocheng, Xiaorou, and Yuhan, to jointly hold an art exhibition. With the support of their teachers, they secured exhibition spaces in various hospitals, with members taking turns leading tours and engaging with visitors, drawing attention through the media. Encouragement and messages from the audience strengthened their creative commitment, believing their art could bring warmth to others.Lin Ziyang (left 1), Wu Shouzhen (left 2), Huang Xiaorou (left 3), Ye Bocheng (right 2), and Wu Yuhan (right 1) hold an art exhibition (Photo / Sourced from NIA FB)
