National Tunghai University traveled to Italy this year to take part in the 18th Venice Architecture Biennale, where it exhibited its project (地景中未完成的協議-台灣改裝). The university had excellent success and won widespread reputation abroad. Taiwan ranks sixth in the most recent 2023 World University Engineering Subject published by the Times Higher Education World University Rankings. It has also secured the top spot among private Taiwanese institutions (non-medical) in the Times' "University Impact Rankings" for four straight years.

The National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts affiliated with the Ministry of Culture hosted the "Taiwan Pavilion of the 18th Venice Architecture Biennale" at Palazzo delle Prigioni in Venice, Italy in May, according to the dean (許和捷) of College of Fine Arts and Creative Design of Tunghai University, and the team from Department of Architecture of Tunghai University also hosted the event.
Taiwan's participation in the Venice Architecture Biennale during this time, according to the Minister of Culture (史哲), is when Taiwan is most well-known worldwide. In addition to bringing together students from the departments of architecture of the four universities, the curatorial team from Tunghai University also brought together National Cheng Kung University, Feng Chia University, Tamkang University, and Chung Yuan Christian University to take part together. The exhibition's primary focus is Taiwan's landscape, which reflects environmental and land-related challenges in Taiwan. The Venice Architecture Biennale is where it shines, and the outcomes have received widespread acclaim.
