[Taiwan Immigrants’ Global News Network] Students from Chang Gung University of Science and Technology, Chung Cheng University and Yangming Jiaotong University recently gathered at Minhsiung Health Center, mixing Nanyang dance and food, bel canto singing singers and sports teaching beautiful teachers, to encourage elders in the community to shake off the anxiety and irritability caused by the epidemic, and let the elders show long-lost smiles.

The "Skirt Shake, Shake Off Your Troubles" organized by Minhsiung Health Office was mainly a cross-campus cooperation activity of the social responsibility practice program of Chang Gung University of Science and Technology and Chung Cheng University, and was joined by students from the Department of Nursing of Chang Gung University Chiayi Branch, members of the "Poadcast Group of 20 Team" of Chung Cheng University and medical students of Yangming Jiaotong University. Not only do they have the taste of Nanyang culture and Taiwan's local culture, but also the elements of intergenerational integration, and the mutual communication in the university's social responsibility practice team.

Zeng Yu-Zhi, Acting Director of Minhsiung Health Center, said that the age-friendly community is one of the policies promoted by the government, and Minhsiung Health Office plays the role of "hub" in this activity, introducing various resources from the community to give an opportunity to provide health promotion and cultural exchanges for the elderly believing that this act will definitely move hearts of the elders in the community and give them the necessary social support.
