Taitung's most anticipated autumn event, the 2024 Blue Ocean Life Festival, is set to take place grandly at Huoshui Lake in Taitung. This year's event runs from September 13 to October 13 for 31 days, marking the third year of the festival with its first-ever scale expansion, bringing an upgraded visual and sensory feast. Centered on the themes of "Taitung Blue" and "Slow Living," the festival combines water dance performances, lake music, and diverse water recreation experiences to offer visitors a unique Taitung lifestyle.
This year’s water dance show not only continues last year's popular response but also goes further with upgrades. The nightly water dance performance from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM features a magnificent 100-meter-long water dance synchronized with musical rhythms and laser animations, creating a dreamlike and magical atmosphere. The newly added [Lake Music Performance], a first in Taitung, will feature renowned singers and artists performing every Saturday and Sunday evening, combining water screen projections and light effects for an unprecedented water concert experience.

Additionally, the Blue Ocean Life Festival retains the popular [Water Recreation Experience] and [Ocean Slow Market], allowing visitors to enjoy a variety of water activities like wakeboarding, sailing, and canoeing in a relaxed atmosphere. A special accessible water experience is also planned so that all visitors can enjoy the water fun without worries.
