The epidemic alert level for Taipei City and New Taipei City is raised to level 3 until May 28. To help migrant workers receive the latest official coronavirus updates, Ministry of Labor (MOL) released a “Line@E-Line” service. MOL encourages migrant workers to use the Line App, and follow the coronavirus prevention measures.
MOL mentions the Line@E-Line service provides information in multiple languages to support migrant worker’s needs. The languages including Mandarin, English, Indonesian, Vietnamese, and Thai.
In the past, MOL has also launched a multiple language website for foreign workers.
Currently, the Line@E-Line service will focus on providing coronavirus information updates. In the future, Line@E-Line service will also share occupation-related information for migrant workers.
