According to The Star, twining programs and partnerships between local and international institutions of higher learning now provide Malaysia students with a broader choice of universities and programs at a lower cost. this also permits students to complete their studies in another country for a more well-rounded educational experience.

Australia has long been the preferred destination for higher education, owing to the high quality and caliber of its colleges and programs, as well as its proximity to Malaysia.

Sunway College, Victoria University's (VU) only international delivery partner in Malaysia, has been offering the VU Bachelor of Business twinning program since 1994. Studying VU's Bachelor of Business at Sunway College allows you to acquire a high-quality VU business degree at a low cost, and it now offers the award-winning Block Model of learning to Malaysian students.

VU is noted for revolutionising tertiary education with the introduction of its multi-award-winning VU Block Model mode of instruction – the first in Australia to do so – which was based on the proven success of block programs at universities in Sweden, Canada, and the United States.
