The Ministry of Economic Affairs also noted that Taiwan's overseas Chinese students had a strong academic background. They benefit from understanding the language and culture of Taiwan and their home country in addition to their professional expertise. If they can complete internships with Taiwanese businesses, they will pave the way for those businesses and extend to international markets.
