Even though the pandemic has subsided, there is still a severe labor shortage in the lodging service sector, with housekeepers being the most in demand. A well-known hotel director noted that the primary cause is the difficulty of having machines perform this work. There is a severe labor shortage, according to the human resources department of a reputable hotel, making it extremely difficult to locate qualified housekeepers. Consequently, recruiting conditions have loosened in order to get around the problem. Hotel owners stated that there has been a decrease in full-time employees' willingness. They no longer mandate that workers put in eight hours a day or work every day, part-time or partially-full-time hires are now allowed, too.
