In 2015, Malaysian photographer Feng Ye-hui (馮業輝) traveled to Taiwan to study. Along with finishing his education, he toured the whole island and recorded time-lapse footage of Taiwan's natural splendor throughout the course of the following seven years. A technological business recently debuted the immersive installation "Amazing Formosa: A Time-Lapse Visual Journal of Taiwan" that blended the photography works of Feng with traditional Taiwanese repertoires. Visitors visiting Taiwan may have an immersive viewing experience in addition to taking in the stunning surroundings.

Feng stated that he had utilized his spare time to work in order to make money so that he could film these works and pay for the costs of the necessary camera equipment. He continued to shoot in Taiwan after receiving his degree. He struggled with money for a very long period, and for a while he considered giving up, but he persisted until the filming was finished.

The main island of Taiwan and several nearby islands, including the North Peak of Mount Hehuan, Jiaming Lake in Taitung, Mazulan Tears, Dalun Mountain Tea Garden in Nantou, and the night view of Taipei metro, were captured in more than a million time-lapse photos. According to Feng Ye-hui, his major successes during the filmmaking process are his perseverance and willingness to face challenges.

The full immersion experience exhibition "Amazing Formosa: A Time-Lapse Visual Journal of Taiwan" is now on display at "AMBI SPACE ONE" in Taipei 101 and runs through July 9th.
