To help migrant workers receive the latest official coronavirus updates, Ministry of Labor (MOL) released a “Line@E-Line” service. MOL encourages migrant workers to use the Line App, and follow the coronavirus prevention measures. - Disease control countrywide: New Taipei City and Taipei City have now raised COVID-19 alerts to Level 3
Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced that in response to continued severity of COVID-19 in Taiwan and an increasing level of community transmission, shown by cases of unknown sources of infection as well as cluster infections in Taipei City and New Taipei City. - McDonald's, Carrefour, convenience stores adopt COVID-19 prevention measurements
As the Central Epidemic Command Center heightened domestic disease prevention measures May 11, many stores and restaurants have also started COVID-19 prevention measurements. The major businesses were American fast food chain McDonald's, four convenience store chains in Taiwan, and French hypermarket chain Carrefour.
