Thai Celebrities, bloggers are having their best memories in Pingtung, visiting Victorystar Cultural and Creative Park in Pingtung, wearing cheongsam, taking pictures. They even went to National Museum of Marine Biology and Aquarium, visiting penguins, whales and stingrays. At the end, they even stayed overnight at the museum, sleeping under the underwater tunnel. The trip made them want to bring more friends over next time.
The internet celebrity tourist group is invited by the Tourism Representative, Travel Section, Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Thailand, while the trip is organized by Dapeng Bay Visitor Center and Pingtung County Government in order to promote tourism. They not only went to Dapeng Bay, Xiao Liuqiu, they also went to Victorystar Cultural and Creative Park and National Museum of Marine Biology and Aquarium. The whole trip is for internet celebrities to film and take as much pictures as they can, hoping that the visiting of the internet celebrities from Thailand can help promote Taiwan tourism to more Thai people.
Thai blogger said that he has been to Taiwan several times. After visiting many cities, he found out that Pingtung is a bit similar to Thailand, speaking of its weather, foods, fruits and environment. However, the most memorable part is the warm hospitality of the local people. Pingtung has a lot to offer, for example, local foods, history, temples, religious culture and nature. Tourism Representative, Travel Section stated, they have been trying hard to explore the South East Asian market. Thai tourist number has been increased steadily since 2019. Thanks to the effort of the official and the locals, more and more Thai people have learned about Pingtung. For example, Wangye Worshipping Ceremony which is held every three years and Fuan Temple are the two Thai tourist must go places when visiting Pingtung.
Next year, there will be an increased number of flights between Kaoshiung and Ching Mai started from Jan 16th. By combining history, religious culture, and local food, Thai people is going to love this new way of exploring Pingtung.
