In the past, Taiwan paid more attention to the Japanese, Korean, and Chinese mainland markets. However, with the simplification of visas to Taiwan for Southeast Asian tourists, more and more Southeast Asian tourists visit Taiwan.
According to the "Central News Agency" report, from January to April this year (2019), Thai tourists to Taiwan have exceeded 140,000 people and have strong growth potential. The government hopes to drive different types of tourism.
