"YALETOWN BISTRO" is the first restaurant in Taiwan with the theme of Canadian cuisine. It has been open for more than nine years and sells a variety of classic Canadian food. Wes Davies had a taste of Montreal smoked meat sandwich while visiting the restaurant and he recommended everyone to put mustard sauce and pickles on the sandwich, making the taste fresher.

Another delicacy Wes Davies had tried is Poutine which emerged in Quebec, Canada, and it is a dish of French fries and cheese curds topped with brown gravy. Wes Davie mentioned that the taste of it is authentic, and the restaurant owner – Kevin also highly recommended this dish to everyone.

BC Salad is made of imported smoked salmon, caper berries, tomatoes, purple onions, black olives, cheese, and fresh lettuce salad. Wes Davies chose to enjoy it with maple syrup and vinegar sauce. After mixing the sauce evenly, Wes Davies felt the taste was incredible because the sweet sauce and smoky flavor is a perfect combination.

Nanaimo bar (納奈莫條) is Canada’s most classic dessert. It consists of three layers of pure chocolate, cream custard, and coconut chocolate. This dessert is also the one that Wes Davies’ mother often made since he was young.

Wes Davies said that the taste of food in "YALETOWN BISTRO" makes him reminisce about his memories. Therefore, he wishes to recommend these delicacies to Canadians in Taiwan and everyone living in Taiwan.
