The Taipei Philharmonic Chamber Choir (TPCC, 台北愛樂室內合唱團) and the Puzangalan Children's Choir (屏東希望兒童合唱團) represented Taiwan on June 21 in online performances at Hungary's Cantemus International Choral Festival (CICF), held every other years.

In addition to Hungary’s local Cantemus choirs, there were also choirs from the Philippines, Russia, Japan, South Korea, Spain, South Africa, Indonesia, Sweden and Taiwan to present pre-recorded performances online this year.

Music Director of TPCC Ku Yu-chung (古育仲) noted that the CICF is a renowned international festival, and that they are very honored to be invited to participate in this online concert.

Ku added that due to the pandemic, Asia's largest annual summer choral festivals, the Taipei International Choral Festival (台北國際合唱音樂節) and the Taipei International Choral Competition (台北國際合唱大賽), will be moved online this summer, along with a series of virtual seminars.
