The National Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall will host "Amazing Taiwan-3D Trick Art Exhibition II (逗陣遊臺灣)" from now to August 14, 2022, featuring Taiwanese traditional character Electric-Techno Neon Gods (電音三太子)."
Deputy Minister of Culture Lee Ching-hwi (李靜慧); National Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall Deputy Commissioner Shu Wen-tao (徐文濤); curator Tsai Wen-hsiang (蔡文祥); folk artist Chen Ming-shan (陳明山); renowned 3D art team: IMAGINATION Art and Design Space (想像空間藝術設計工作室); director Kit Hung (洪榮傑); and other 3D artists were among those present on the opening day of the art exhibition on Dec. 29. Dragon Dance and Arts Centre Limited (龍騰藝術團) delivered a live performance of the Electric-Techno Neon Gods at the opening ceremony.

The first 3D art exhibition, staged last year, garnered positive feedback, according to Deputy Minister of Culture Lee Ching-hwi. This year's show included Yilan's Guishan Island (Turtle Island), Taitung's Taiwan International Balloon Festival, Tainan's Salt Mountain, Nantou's Qingjing Farm, Taipei's National Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, and Kinmen's Wind Lion Gods, among others (Fengshiye). It attempts to portray traditional Taiwanese culture to people by incorporating the Electric-Techno Neon Gods into the display.
The 6 pieces of artwork, as well as a painted archway at the entry, were co-created by folk artist Chen Ming-shan and the IMAGINATION Art and Design Space, according to curator Tsai. He thanked the National Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall for putting on the exhibition, which allowed the participating artists to present Taiwanese culture and art in a national art venue.
The exhibition venue will also feature a video by photographer Ed Wu (吳建衡) as well as beautiful lampposts incorporating traditional paper-cutting and modern design.
