Even so, he has proved himself while receiving schooling, and as well as that her mother’s parenting is right. "If one day, the second generation of new immigrants does not need to prove themselves anymore, and it means that the society is no longer sticking the negative label on them,” says Lin.

Therefore, he took the second generation of new immigrants, who are still studying in junior high schools, to learn about the lifestyles, cultures, and immigration places f different ethnic groups by traveling to various places in Taiwan. In this way, the new immigrants’ children would be able to have a deeper understanding of Taiwan's multiculturalism and recognize their mother's hometown.
