Hirami lemon, which also known as Taiwan tangerine can be processed into a variety of foods with good anti-obesity, anti-oxidation, anti-inflammation, and other activities, according to the research and development team of the Academy of Circular Economy at National Chung Hsing University (NCHU), but they can also control despair and anxiety symptoms brought on by chronic diseases. This accomplishment was also reported in the prestigious academic journal "Food and Function," which was released in August by the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC).

In low-altitude regions of Taiwan and Ryukyu in southern Japan, hirami lemons, which are native to Taiwan, are grown. The study team noted that the juice of Hirami lemons is rich in two substances, nobiletin and tangeretin, in addition to its distinctive flavor. It can lower obesity, hyperlipidemia, and hyperglycemia, among other health issues. Hirami lemons also have positive benefits on Parkinson's disease and other degenerative brain illnesses.

Additionally, research has revealed that Hirami lemon boosts the proportion of beneficial bacteria and decreases the quantity of harmful bacteria in the intestines. This further demonstrates the variety of health benefits of Hirami lemon and how, when used properly, it may improve physical, mental, and spiritual health.
