Taipei City Learning Programs for Foreign Workers Exhibition Starts on 10th, November

Taipei City learning programs for foreign workers exhibition will be started on 10th, November at Taipei Main Station. The migrant workers learned professional skills in the free courses. There will the performances of the students in conversation course, caregiving course and hairdressing courses to show what they have learned in these two months learning program.

Taipei City Foreign and Disabled Labor Office began learning programs for foreign workers and opened 18 courses and 227 migrant workers participated. By this learning program, the migrant workers can obtain the communicative ability with their employers and the professional skill. The key to the success of opening classes depends on the active participation of foreign workers and employers. Taiwanese employers encourage migrant workers to participate in this year's curriculum. With the support of these employers, the motivation for migrant workers is strengthened.

Taipei City Foreign and Disabled Labor Office stated that it holds a variety of activities to assist migrant workers to relief their stress and fit in the lives in Taiwan. The students presented the achievement of taking course to effectively convey the government's care and dedication to labor, and hope to understand and respect different cultures and living habits, showing that Taipei is a multicultural city. It also stated that the exhibition includes foreign song and dance performances, delicious foods and a number of gifts, which is an exotic celebration. It welcomes people to participate this event and bring love and embrace each other in Taiwan.
