According to Philippines and Timor-Leste agree to explore direct flights, boost education exchanges | The Star, on November 10, the Philippines and Timor-Leste decided to investigate the possibility of negotiating an aviation service agreement that would enable direct flights between their capital cities and promote more student exchanges between the two South East Asian nations.

The presidential communications office of the Philippines reports that 11 agreements were signed by the two parties, according to Philippines and Timor-Leste agree to explore direct flights, boost education exchanges | The Star, including ones on military cooperation, higher education collaboration, and economic and technological cooperation.

The concerns were discussed at a bilateral discussion in the presidential palace between Presidents Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos of the Philippines and Jose Ramos-Horta of Timor-Leste, who is in Manila on an official visit since November 8.

After sending a team to help hone their food processing abilities, Presidents Marcos pledged to support Timor-Leste in developing their talents.

Additionally, according to Philippines and Timor-Leste agree to explore direct flights, boost education exchanges | The Star, Presidents Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos reaffirmed his nation's backing for Timor-Leste's bid to join the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, a regional organization consisting of ten countries.
