The Southeast Asian Women's Care Association of Penghu County (澎湖縣東南亞婦女關懷協會) organized the "Beauty of Penghu-Half-Day Tour" (澎湖之美-半日遊) activity, bringing new immigrants to visit the Jimawan Squid Balls Factory in Hsiyu Township and invited staff from the Penghu County Service Station of the National Immigration Agency (移民署澎湖縣服務站) to promote the prevention of African swine fever to the new immigrants. The association is committed to caring for the lives of new immigrants who have just migrated to Taiwan and is assisting new immigrants' children with cultural literacy and academic guidance, so that the new immigrants can have more opportunities to participate in social services.

Chen Li-Lien (陳莉蓮), chairman of the Southeast Asian Women’s Care Association, said that to let the new immigrant sisters understand Taiwan’s folk culture, the association was entrusted to handle new immigrant-related services and activities. Care is provided for disadvantaged families of new immigrants, and the family is rest assured that they will be allowed to participate in activities, first come first serve, as long as they live on this treasure island of Taiwan, because we are family. With the integration of ethnic groups into the new Taiwanese society, we hope that through the efforts of the association, the new immigrants can live happily in Penghu.

The event also invited the Penghu County Service Station to promote the prevention of African Swine Fever, to care for the lives of new immigrants in Taiwan, and to promote multicultural integration. The new immigrants are reminded that epidemic prevention is for everybody. To prevent the smuggling of meat, everyone must abide by the three “NO” policies, "DO NOT" import meat products from abroad illegally, "DO NOT" buy meat products of unknown origin online, "DO NOT" dispose of unknown meat products as food waste and comply with national measures to prevent and contain the "African Swine Fever" virus.
