When Wu Yu Ren and Xie Min Jun was on their duty, two Japanese teachers came to Taipei City Police Department Shilin Precinct for help.
Japanese teacher Ping Shi lost his phone on the taxi during a hurry to a very important dinner meeting. Ping has put all his important information on his phone, and also his bank account and password. He was worried that his phone will be picked up by stranger and use it illegally. The police first comforted him and then started to bring out all the videos on surveillance camera. After identifying the taxi, they called the taxi driver and made sure the phone was still left behind at the back seat. At the end, the taxi driver returned to the precinct and brought back the phone. The Japanese teacher thanks the police in Shilin Precinct for being so nice and efficient.
Shilin Precinct strongly suggested everyone to keep a record of the taxi driver’s name and number and to make sure you bring all your personal belongings with you when you leave the taxi.
