To maintain the safety of Taiwan’s agricultural and livestock products and the health of the Taiwan people, the Taitung County Special Duty Team and Service Stations used a rewards program for the public, new immigrants and migrant workers, to promote the prevention of African swine fever by broadcasting videos in multiple languages and distributing related literature to jointly protect Taiwanese pigs. The public is reminded not to buy meat products with unknown origin and labels, and not to order overseas pork products via mail or purchase online. Unidentified meat products must not be thrown with the kitchen waste and should be recycled by the cleaning team.

Huang Chi-Ming (黃志明), the captain of the Taitung County Special Service Team (臺東縣專勤隊), reminded the public that those who completed the reservation on the quintuple stimulus vouchers official website before October 29 can draw 7 bonus coupons, and the first 4 million quintuple stimulus vouchers digital binding holders can get good food coupons. If citizens and new immigrants have related questions, they can call the Taitung County Service Team or the Taitung County Service Station for inquiries. In addition, the prevention and control of African swine fever still requires everyone to work together to eliminate African swine fever and protect Taiwan’s swine industry.
