The Garden of Hope Foundation and Stanley Wang D-School @ NTU collaborated to host a series of lectures at the end of July in Taipei's Huashan 1914 Creative Park. In response to Taiwan's growing immigrant population, the lectures covered the topic of transnational mobility and immigration with speakers from Israel, Japan, Indonesia, and other countries. The public is welcome to participate in Indonesian traditional dance experience activities that were provided for the event.

Longtime residents in Taiwan, such as migrant workers and international students, have received aid from the Emigration Service Center (移住者服務中心) of The Garden of Hope Foundation. Years of service have given them a better appreciation for how fostering mutual understanding and lowering barriers between foreigners and Taiwanese may contribute to the development of a varied and inclusive society. As a result, the foundation organizes pertinent exhibitions and talks each year and engages the public through events.

The Emigration Service Center's director stated that this year's event's subject is "Our Stories of Migration" (移住到宜住:移的進行式) and that attendees may learn about other cultures via both visual and aural experiences at physical installations. There are several races represented in the Indonesian traditional dance performance during the event. The group' varied dancing styles, attire, and musical tastes allow the audience to understand more about Indonesia's many cultural traits.
