In addition, the Political Affairs Office of the Immigration Agency also advocates the prevention of job fraud, corporate integrity and anti-bribery.
Sub-Director, Zhang Yong-Zhi explained in order to safeguard the rights and interests of the people, the government will enforce matters such as failure to pay taxes or ignore fines, and when necessary, measures such as seizing, sealing, and auctioning the property of obligors, and in a timely manner, measures such as restriction to leave the country and appeal to the court to rule on measures such as arrest and confiscation in order to implement public power, this must not be taken lightly.
Zhang Yong-Zhi also said that Administrative Enforcement Agency also regularly provides care and assistance to vulnerable obligors. The Kaohsiung Branch recently cooperated with Gaoping Business Group of the Central Health Insurance Administration and the 1st Kaohsiung City Service Center to help a single parent new resident who was in arrears of health insurance premiums. In addition to donating condolence funds and assisting in applying for subsidy insurance premiums for low- and middle-income households, it also provided assistance such as immigration counseling and referral welfare resources, demonstrating the cross-regional cooperation between the public sector and the warm tenderness and caring side of Administrative Enforcement Agency.
