Taiwan Creative Content Agency and Singapore Mediacorp Pte. Ltd. jointly established the "In the Name of LOVE - Chinese original TV series development plan" to encourage the growth of original Chinese content in accordance with the global market. Starting from June 8th, the script proposals for Chinese-language TV series will be called for, and the top three works will have the opportunity to be selected by Mediacorp for production.

According to Taiwan Creative Content Agency, the application period will be open from June 8 to July 16. The intention is to gather ideas for motion pictures and television shows with a development specification of eight to twenty episodes. There is no restriction on applicants' nationality. Teams or individuals may sign up. Each group should have a maximum of two members, one of them should be a scriptwriter, and they should also produce pertinent planning documents. The jury will select three groups of teams and provide development fees for a period of 12 weeks of pre-development of the script. It is expected to complete the complete script of the first episode by the end of the year.

The three shortlisted teams can work with professional production teams, producers, award-winning screenwriters (鄭心媚、溫郁芳) and consultants. Participation in a series of courses and exchange seminars will also be arranged. In the end, Mediacorp will choose one or all of the top three proposals to produce according to their content and potential. More on the official website.
