SEA Advisory Committee members from 10 nations, including Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Myanmar, Laos, Philippines, Vietnam, India, and New Zealand, were invited to Taiwan as part of a meeting of the committee conducted recently by the Ministry of Culture. In an effort to foster future collaboration through in-person interactions, the Ministry of Culture organizes cultural seminars, trips to galleries and museums, and other itineraries.

A number of groups of artists from Taiwan and Thailand were connected online, and their works were displayed at the Jim Thompson Art Center and Hong-gah Museum in Thailand. The Deputy Minister (王時思) of Ministry of Culture expressed his gratitude to members from various nations for working together to implement 16 art exchange projects during the epidemic. Additionally, it creates international art archives and publishes publications on contemporary art curation and Taiwanese and Philippine art history in both Chinese and English. Furthermore, encourage the sharing of traditional music between Taiwan and Vietnam.

Additionally, this year's meeting has "We ART together" as its subject. It is hoped that future conversations and events would expand our cultural and artistic interactions with the New Southbound nations. We also seek to strengthen interactions between Taiwan and Southeast Asia, New Zealand, and Australia, improve mutual understanding, and share the artistic accomplishments produced by each other using the power of art and culture to transcend national boundaries.
