The most energy-intensive appliances include air conditioners, electric heaters, electric water heaters, hot water dispensers, refrigerators, dehumidifiers, clothes dryers, electric cookers, microwave ovens, and dish dryers, according to the home appliance expert. Heating appliances, such as clothes dryers and microwaves, use roughly 6 kilowatt-hours of power each month. About 12 kilowatt hours of power are used each month by electric stoves and dryers. The dehumidifier will use roughly 26 kilowatt-hours of power per month if it is utilized in the majority of homes.

Additionally, because they must run continuously, refrigerators use roughly 47 kilowatt-hours of power each month. The hot water dispenser uses around 48 kWh of power each month. The electric water heater's power consumption is highly high, thus even if it might not be used for very long each time, it might still take 60 kWh of energy in a month. In winter and summer, prolonged use of electric heaters and air conditioners results in monthly power usage of 63 and 135 kilowatt hours, respectively.
