New Taipei City Library has launched all kinds of parent-child interactive activities in May. To celebrate Mother’s Day, Sanchong Wuchang Branch conducted an activity to celebrate Mother’s Day on May 8. New Taipei City Library also invited two famous YouTubers from“波蘭女孩x台灣男孩蜜拉士愷” to the activity.
New Taipei City Library arranged different traditional Chinese activities that show the concept of Filial piety. The activity presents how people show respect to parents and elders in Taiwan. New immigrants also shared how they show respect in their culture.

Mila, a YouTuber from Poland, guided the children in the activity to make Slavic bridal flower crowns as a Mother’s Day gift.
Through this activity, children can experience different Mother’s Day customs. And many new immigrant families can spend more time together, and have fun on Mother’s Day.
