On May 11, at the third park of Gao’s Hydrangea Flower Field(高家繡球花田), the 2023 Wanli Hydrangea Season officially kicked off. Wedding images were being taken by newlyweds from various nations.

According the director (林俊德) of the Landscape Department (景觀處) of New Taipei City, hydrangea has steadily emerged as a new location for tourists to snap photos, joining cherry blossoms and tung trees as recent attractions in Taiwan. They include the Pinglin District Shipai County Boundary Park and the Gao’s Hydrangea Field in Wanli District, which has become a new local attraction.

The Wanli District Office stated that during the flower season, take photos at any scenic spot in Wanli District and upload them to the Facebook of the Wanli District Office to participate in the flower season lucky draw. Prizes include accommodation coupons (野柳薆悅酒店住宿券), supermarket gift coupons, fragrance gift boxes, etc. The lucky draw will be held until July 10.
